EXPERIENCE

Instructional Designer

Symbotic (2025)

As an instructional designer, I’ve led the development of comprehensive training programs with a strong focus on video production, e-learning, and technical animation. My experience includes creating clear, engaging training videos and industrial animations using CAD software to visually explain complex robotic systems and workflows. I’ve worked extensively with Learning Management Systems (LMS), supporting content uploads, tracking user engagement, and ensuring seamless access for learners. I am proficient in e-learning authoring tools, enabling the development of interactive modules that include knowledge checks, simulations, and multimedia enhancements. A key aspect of my work involves close collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational goals. One of my most impactful projects was the design and execution of a suite of interactive training modules for a robotic automation system, which served as the foundation for onboarding associates at a national scale. This project combined narrative design, motion graphics, and user-focused learning strategies to introduce a highly technical subject in an accessible and engaging way.

Multimedia Specialist

Walmart Advanced Systems and Robotics (2022-2025)

At Walmart Advanced Systems and Robotics (WASR), I served as a Multimedia Specialist, producing a wide array of content to support training, documentation, and operational readiness. I developed animated training videos specifically for associate-level learners, simplifying complex robotic workflows into engaging, digestible visual narratives. My projects included installation work instructions, lab testing documentation, and the development of a robust multimedia library that centralized access to critical visual assets across teams.

These resources became key tools for onboarding, standardizing procedures, and supporting rapid technological adoption throughout the organization. I worked closely with engineers, subject matter experts, and field technicians to ensure content accuracy and alignment with evolving system capabilities.

I'm highly skilled with a variety of camera and capture tools, including the Canon XA75, GoPro Hero 10, GoPro Max 360, DJI drones, and HoloLens 2. Following the discontinuation of the HoloLens, I’ve also worked with Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest Pro to continue capturing dynamic, immersive technical content. This versatility enables me to create compelling, high-quality media that meets the demands of modern industrial environments.

Sen. Technical Illustrator

Alert Innovation (2019-2022)

As a Senior Technical Illustrator at Alert Innovation during its startup phase, I played a foundational role in shaping the company’s visual communication strategy. I created the original templates and frameworks that served as the basis for all future technical documentation. Recognizing the growing need for multimedia-based learning, I led the initiative to incorporate video training and e-learning into our instructional design, helping to modernize the onboarding experience for associates. I collaborated with the marketing team to define artistic direction and produce visual assets aligned with the company’s brand. Using SolidWorks and Creo, I developed detailed 3D CAD models that were integrated into work instructions and training materials. I also edited videos in After Effects and Premiere to support both technical and promotional content. As the department grew, I organized and led the in-house visual creation team, overseeing equipment procurement, project workflows, and asset development to ensure all content reflected the company’s evolving goals. I also contributed to the early development of our visual style guide, laying the groundwork for a cohesive and scalable design system.
