The illustration features the Dynamic Workstation (DWS), A key system component where bots cycle through, allowing associates to pick and place items between totes.
This asset helped visualize complex motion and safety zones in a clear, accessible format for new learners.
Alphabot System Training Illustration
This graphic was created using Creo Illustrate and Adobe InDesign as part of a comprehensive technician training module focused on the Alphabot system. Developed by Alert Innovation and funded early by Walmart, the Alphabot is an advanced automation solution designed to streamline online grocery fulfillment through high-density micro-fulfillment centers.
The visual asset was designed to support field technicians by providing a clear, detailed breakdown of bot components and movement systems, allowing for faster diagnostics and repairs.
By visualizing complex robotic functions in an accessible format, the training material helped reduce learning curves and improve issue resolution time. This illustration was one of many produced as part of a larger initiative to enhance service readiness and support operational efficiency across deployment sites.
This sample page showcases a typical Work Instruction (WI) created using Adobe InDesign, Creo Illustrate, and lab photo assets. Designed for field use during system installation, these instructions ensure consistent build quality and safety across nationwide sites.
The development process began by collaborating with mechanical engineering SMEs to define the installation sequence. I then validated this process with the field installation team, incorporating any real-world deviations. After drafting the layout and graphics, I conducted redline reviews with SMEs and the safety team to ensure accuracy and compliance. Finalized documents were submitted to the PLM and integrated into the LMS for deployment.

Static Workstation Training Graphic
This graphic was created using Creo Illustrate and Adobe InDesign to support technician and associate training. The static workstation is a critical point in the system where bots deliver totes for customer orders and where products and totes are inducted into the system.
The illustration helps visualize the workflow and reinforces system understanding. It was designed to align with the overall training aesthetic and integrate seamlessly into work instructions and onboarding materials. Special attention was given to clarity and labeling to ensure it could be quickly understood in the field.
